TIPS, RULES, MORE

Aloha: Below are few select rules from the Kai Makani Bylaws, Declaration and House Rules that are very often relevant to all residents. The House Rules in particular should be read in their entirely by all residents. Please especially note the following:

  • Grilling is not permitted on any lanai or within 10' of any structure

  • Furniture or objects on lanais that draw attention in a way that disrupts the aesthetics of the community are not allowed. This includes towels and wet bathing suits.

  • Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am

  • Pool hours are 8 am - 9 pm - PLEASE SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING POOL

  • Gym hours are 5 am - 9 pm

  • Read all signs by pool and spa and follow those rules.

  • Speed limit on property is 10 mph. Please remember we have children, hearing impaired, elderly, etc. in our community.

  • Smoking is not permitted on lanais.

  • Do not back in parking stalls

  • Please ensure your car bumper is not over side walk in any way. The walkway needs to be totally clear to allow for wheelchair access

  • Guests staying over 48 hours and guests who want to use the pool area without a resident must register with the Site Manager

  • Report any suspicious activity on property to the Site Manager and call the police when appropriate

  • We encourage all residents to leave a key with the Site Manager if off island in case of emergency such as a water leak.

  • Please be aware that second floor noise, especially hard walking, jumping, running, moving furniture, etc. can be heard on the first floor. Please be courteous to your neighbors

Please inform your guests of all rules. Often guests do not know the pool rules and can end up getting the owner fined for their guests' violations. This can also cause complaints from other residents and can cause hard feelings among people. Please tell your guests about all rules that affect them to help make their stay more pleasant. If your guest is staying onsite without a regular resident please provide them with all the house rules and make sure they register. Mahalo!

If you have any concerns or suggestions please stop by and visit the Site Manager or call or email them using the contact information on the home page. The Site Manager enforces all rules and can help with anything you need. You can also contact any Board member directly using the email addresses above. Aloha and mahalo for being a good member of the community.
